Based on my experience helping students prep for the ACT in Kansas City for the last several years, I believe that anyone has the capability to learn and expand their knowledge – if they put the work in. My goal is for my students to begin to “learn how they learn” so they can develop the self-confidence to begin solving school on their own.
I facilitate student growth by assessing strengths and weaknesses, focusing on problem areas, and improving problem solving skills. Additionally, the skills gained from these sessions will not only help students with a particular test or subject, but will help them in countless future classes and endeavors.
